Job Details:
Finance Analyst
Ref No: FVF/FA/07/24
Reporting to the Company Accountant the Finance Analyst will provide a key role in assisting with the production of accurate accounting information for the Finance team and analysis of monthly results for the business in general.
The Role:
- Assist in preparing monthly accounts, reports and budgets;
- Conducting financial analysis and providing insights to support decision making;
- Posting monthly journals and preparing general ledger reconciliations; Preparing statistical reports for government departments; Assist in the preparation of the information required for the year end audit; Completion of monthly VAT, EC Sales Lists & Intrastat returns;
- Provide backup support for all duties covered by the finance department.
The Person:
- Will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role;
- Must possess third level finance/business qualification or equivalent.
- Must have strong IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel;
- Will need good analytical skills;
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a busy team;
- Ideally have experience of operating computerised accounting software;
