Graduate Development Programme Proving Popular.

Fane Valley’s two-year Graduate Development Programme is showing much promise with the management excited about their first three appointments after an ongoing selection process. Aimed at attracting the agri sectors most promising and aspiring candidates. Fane Valley Feeds boasts a host of incentives and development opportunities for all graduates in a welcoming and people focused environment.

Part of the Fane Valley Cooperative Group, Fane Valley Feeds is one of the largest animal feed manufacturers in Northern Ireland with an annual production capacity in excess of 300,000 tonnes. With manufacturing sites in Omagh and Newry, and a modern and efficient fleet of delivery vehicles, Fane Valley Feeds is well positioned to service Northern Ireland and the border counties of Louth, Monaghan, Cavan, Leitrim, Sligo and Donegal.

Speaking at the launch James McKee, Fane Valley Feeds Sales Director said, “We want our Graduates to bring the best version of themselves and in return we’ll reward them with a fantastic package. The programme requires dedication and determination, but the results are very rewarding – whether that’s through your own professional development, your growth as an individual or seeing your customers business thrive and the rumours are true. The programme includes a fully expensed company vehicle!”.

Upon completion of the programme, graduates will be prepared to enter the agricultural feed industry with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful. Over the two years Graduates will train and gain knowledge in various aspects of the business to include: Feed Science, Feed Sales, Poultry Production, Agricultural Marketing, Agricultural Law and Agricultural Finance.

James continues, “We are passionate about our business and the agri sector and we want to impart some of this knowledge to the next generation. Throughout the two-year programme, we hope to be able to help our graduates identify and meet the needs of their customers, develop and implement effective sales strategies, manage their sales territory effectively, deliver sustainable sales growth and prepare for a future career path within the Fane Valley Group”.
