Within each trial, animals of similar breed and weight were assigned to control and treatment groups. Both groups received a nutritionally balanced ration; the only variable was the inclusion of MAXIMUS in the treatment group.

The results were clear and consistent across all trial scenarios, with the cattle receiving MAXIMUS achieving an additional 140–210 grams of liveweight gain per head per day. This enhanced rate of gain directly reflects an improved feed conversion and stronger performance efficiency on farm.

With improved daily liveweight gain, cattle reach finish faster therefore MAXIMUS facilitates a shorter finishing period, ultimately reducing the cost per kilogram of liveweight gain. Through trial work, this has proven to deliver a 6:1 return on investment, meaning that for every £1 invested, producers saw a return of £6 from enhanced performance. This resonates true regardless of fluctuations to concentrate, mineral and/or beef prices.

Sustainability
